Q.
our premature baby weight 2300 gram. she is not taking any top feed from palate not even mother feed from palate. direct mother feed taking. she needs it after every half hour. please suggest what can we do. we are restless now from last 2 days

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. you can give breastfeeding fully.See in such cases the child needs specialist care always. So try to follow with the same doctor and do not get anxious with s variety of opinion. Focus on treatment ok.

If The child is not taking a feeding bottle why do not you try to give it to your child with a bowl and spoon because that could be one healthy option that you can give to the child with other than feeding bottle if that is also not working for you then you can consult a lactation doctor and if possible start giving milk with a dropper
