Q.

on 1st day of dengue positive platelet count is 3.42 lacs and on 2nd day 2.08 lacs and active with normal temperature of 98 to 99°F. Hence kid is discharged from hospital. on next day( on 4th day) when platelet count is checked it's 73k. and baby is active with normal temperatures. Is it a panic situation?

A. no need to worry but observe the baby for hemodynamics stability for further advise and information in this regard it is advisable to consult your local doctor for proper examination physically and if all required any investigations also and proper management
