Q.

not satisfied with answer,, my baby is 7 month old, due to constipation she has anal fissure doctor prescribed lactulose syrup for stool softener, I am giving her since 8 days 3.5ml 2 times a day if I stop giving her syrup she again passes hard stool, how long can I give her syrup, does it cause any effect on my baby's health , please answer.

A. you should apply glycerine suppository over there for the lubrication and also consult a surgeon for the fissure baby is having do not use any other medication by yourself . .

A. hii dear parent try to feed dahi/yogurt to your baby and more fluid intake in the form of water juices anything

A. Hello dear parent! Check if the diet or any vitamin supplements is causing the discomfort. Bananas and apples are good for digestion and reducing constipation. Increase the liquid intake and fibre intake of your baby. Better to consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and advice if the problem persists. Good luck and take care.
