if you are asking for your child , you can give indirect steam to your child.
for that ,run hot water tap in bathroom and close the door of bathroom , take your child on your lap and sit for 8 to 10 minutes in bathroom.
you can also use Babyhug rapid relief rub on chest and back of your child which give instant relief in cold and cough.
