Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Breastmilk is recommended until 1.5 yrs to 2 yrs and even after that as long as the baby and the mother are comfortable with it. But for her age she also needs other nutrients which she can get from other healthy solid foods. So try to regularize the breastfeeding and solid feeding schedule. No need to stop breastfeeding altogether. Just regularize when to give breastmilk and when to feed solids. Otherwise she may get too addicted to breastmilk and will resist all other foods. After few days due to hunger the child will start taking solids. But you should be very strict on the schedule and not give away seeing the child crying
