You should avoid any stretching over the stitches area after delivery and also maintain proper hygiene.
If in case any pain or discharge seen then you should consult with your doctor once for examination

You can easily take about three weeks to 4 weeks rest would completely depend what your doctor has advised you that how do you need to take care of the stitches because normally doctors advice it but why is in a day in potassium per magnate that really helps a lot and faster healing of the area and stitch is break down within 3 to 4 weeks
