Lunch: Soft-cooked vegetables: Carrot, sweet potato, pumpkin, peas, or zucchini. You can mash or cut them into small pieces. Rice and dal: Soft, well-cooked rice and lentils. You can make a mild dal with a little ghee and mild spices. Pasta: Small pasta shapes with a mild sauce or mixed with vegetables. Chicken or fish: Small, well-cooked pieces of chicken or fish can be offered if your baby is eating non-vegetarian food. Snacks: Fruit: Soft, easily mashed fruits like banana, avocado, or pear.
