newborn has stuffy nose, doc jas give nasal drop but still no benefit yet. is there any home remedy i can use??? doc asked to give steam from distance but i don't have any idea how to give steam to newborn.

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part odf viral illness there could be associated symptvdoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
