Q.
My wife is diabetic and taking glucomet 500 and reclide XR 60. She’s also breast my 18 months old baby. Will this medication affect my baby? If so what best can I do now. Bcoz it’s already 18 months. Kindly advice.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. the baby is already one year at 6 months of age there is no need to give breastfeeding to the baby since your wife is taking antidiabetic medicines some amount of drugs will be secreted in the breast milk
