Q.

My wife has undergone c section surgery. but unfortunately baby was declared dead at the time of delivery because of umbilical cord issue. she is healthy and recovering from surgery. So, when can we plan for next baby? should we wait for 6 months or 1 year?

A. Should wait for atleast one to one and half year. As your wife needs to recover from the surgery.

A. please discuss in person all this matters with your treating doctor ok. if there is no relief it is advisable to see the doctor for proper examination if there is need for proper investigations also both for diagnosis and treatment

A. At least one to one and a half years you’ll have to wait because it was a C-section so your wife’s body needs to heal completely with stitches and everything and has to be ready for another pregnancy so minimum one years wait should be there and after that you can try for another child
