Q.
my wife had to take some antibiotics for her tooth ailment and my child has diarrhea because of that. my daughter is 11 months old and breast fed what should we do??

ExpertDr. Garima VermaDentist3 years agoA. hello sar it is better to visit your pediatrician regarding this as he or she will be able to guide you better after checking which antibiotics your wife had and what would be the effect of those antibiotics on the baby

Shilpa SalwanMom of 2 children3 years agoA. in the situation and the child is 11 months of age you can go ahead and give your child ORS l tetra pack which is flavoured orsl and can be directly given to the little one it comes in a variety of flavours this will help you to avoid any kind of dehydration caused due to loose motions part from this I will suggest you as your wife is taking antibiotics she should not breastfeed while doing so it is not at all advisable consult doctor to stop the loose motions of your child
