Q.
My son turns 4 months next week. His birth weight was 2.78kg, but he had come down to 2.5kgs in one week. Now he weighs 5kgs. Also, last month he was 4.8kg. He has gained only 200grams in a month. He's otherwise normal, active, good urine output. Is he okay?

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl2 years agoA. A minimum game is good when it comes to 4 to 500 g in a month so right now your child is not gaining sufficiently well maybe the breastfeeding that you are giving isn’t working out good enough so you should go ahead with giving formula feeding as well
