my son turning 3 months and his weight is 5kg. Is the weight ideal for his age?

Hello mom check his weight according to his birth weight which they tend to gain about 300 GMs to 1 kg monthly and by the age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight. If the baby is preterm baby they tend to gain weight on a slow pace as compared to full term baby

Yes the weight of ur baby is fine.
3 months baby weight should be around 5-8 kgs. Feed after every 2-3 hours interval or when demanded by the baby for weight gain.
