my son's umbilical is suddenly gone red and it is itchy too.. what to do doctor? please tell any home remedies

It's due to dryness also,you need to apply a almond oil or ghee on your babies belly button and it's due to dehydration ,you need to give lots of liquids and water to your baby so that baby gets hydrated and also apply oil in belly button right after bath on your baby.
