Q.

My son's forehead and neck is always warm after he had high fever last week. But now fever is below 99. What could be the possible reason?

A. it is very normal for small children to have slightly warm/hot head palms and soles but if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry about the warm head palm and soles. you have to consider it as fever only if the temperaturex in the armpit is 100°f / 37.7°c or more. the warm head palms and soles are due to hyperdynamicc circulation in these areas (that is necessary for development) which is normal.
