Q.
My son's birth weight is 2.75kg. He was 4.2 kg when he was 45 days old. Now he is 60 days old and he weighs 4.5 kg. Is this a normal weight gain? I feel milk is insufficient for him. He cries. plz advise.

ExpertKanika AroraNutritionist5 years agoA. hello dear Mom the weight of the child is fine the weight increases by approximately 500 grams each month till 6 months of age make sure to exclusively breast feed the baby at a gap of 2 hours for 15 to 20 minutes from both the breast
