Q.

My son passed only mucus on his stool twice yesterday, following which he passed the normal stool again. But, today, he passed only a thick blob of mucus for stool. He does not have any symptoms of sickness. The only change in his diet was preparing fried potatoes in ghee since yesterday. Please help.

A. might be certain food is the reason. Sometimes the mucus is part of a normal process. as ur baby is healthy, active than no need for any worry. tc

A. Betterto avoid fried foods mam. Mauntain good hygiene try to identify the reason and treat it accordingly. you may give more of water and other healthy liquids such as fruit juices, ORS etc. Give warm water every morning, include a banana daily. Include more foods that contain high levels of fibre. Fiber rich foods can help in faster recovery. Alos ensure baby doesn't get dehydrated.it's good n I suggest it would be better to check with your doctor and follow his advise. That would be the best and safest option for your kid.
