Were in you can give a few sips initially you can use a small baby glass of a bottle or a best is sipper cups as well.
For weaning foods initially start with lqiuid consistency such as soups, juices, dal, rice water etc , and once baby accepts well you can gradually move to semi solid and mashed foods

Once the child completes the age of six months that you are mentioning 180 days yes you can start giving water to the child boil the water bring it down to room temperature to warm and that’s what you can offer you can use a feeding bottle you can use a sip or whatever is more comfortable for you millets can be introduced after the age of nine months most of them not as of now
