Q.

My son is suffering from fever for past two days and we have taken him to nearby hospital and doctor given some medicines in the form of syrup. we are giving those syrups to him but still fever is not cured yet. it increasing and decreasing manner. Last week we admitted him hospital for fever and febrile Seizures. please confirm the reason for uneven fevers.

A. To avoid febrile seizure you should keep monitoring temperature of the baby and don’t let it become high grade and give medicine on regular intervals and give more liquids to the baby

A. Hello sir Viral fever can take 3-5 days to subside. Give medicine as prescribed by the doctor. Repeat the dose after six hours if fever comes again. It will be fine. Give easily digestable food like khichdi, rice curd, Banana, apple, sooji etc to ur baby
