Q.

My son is suffering from cough and cold for the past one weak. I have been giving him a cough syrup continuously, but he is still can't breath properly. Which medicine can be given to him and what can I do further??

A. This can occur due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes around child. For cold / running nose give syp wikoryl AF 5 ml to the child 2- 3 times per day. (Helps in decreasing running nose and cold) Prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops every three hourly for nasal congestion and block. Indirectt steam help in decreasing coughing For fever and pain give paracetamol Go for home remedies like Tulsi Ginger honey diluted with water combination and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day. Give warm water to drink

A. Hi mommy Use saline nasal drops Consult with your doctor in person for proepr physical examination and treatment Offer different varieties of food fruits vegetable pulses whole grains milk products in different shape colours patterns to make meal more interesting children are fussy eater at this age its all normal and common you can give food in puree liquid form or give some juice soup milkshake etc
