my son is passing hard stools after starting solids for him. He is 6 and a half months old. is this normal?

A. at this age the child should pass stool regularly.
if the consistency is hard and the child is having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation.
give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child
it is important to give fibre diet from cerealsd pulses vegetables and fruits
avoid giving more than 400 ml milk everyday and avoid giving packet and processed foods as well as biscuits and refined food
adding papayad , fennel seeds water , oats pear prunes pineapple banana kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation.

A. When you start giving food to the child you have to make sure that you’re giving really good amount of liquid as well because liquids are going to help in better digestion and the pooping is going to be proper with that only as water is very important
