Vaishali TanwarMom of a 8 yr 3 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi, Avoid giving milk powders to your baby. All these store brought powders are heavily processed and have chemicals and sugar in them which is not good for your baby. You can add dry fruits, elachi, fruits etc to enhance the taste of milk.
For Weight gain-
Give 3 meals and 2-3 snacks in a day to your baby. Add ghee or home made butter in your baby food.
Add dry fruits, paneer, cheese, curd, boiled egg etc in your baby diet.
Give energy dense fruits and vegetables like banana chikku potatoes sweet potatoes etc along with other seasonal fruits and vegetables.
Avoid giving thin soups and juices.
Limit intake of milk.
Also consult your pediatrician to rule out any nutritional deficiency.
