My son is nearly one year old and there is not a single tooth development. The weight gain has been very poor over the past four months -1 to 1.5kgs.

babies usually start getting their first milk teeth anytime from 6 months upto the age of 18 months.
during teething phase kids suffer from loss of appetite and weight..
so wait for some more time and meanwhile keep checking for the signs of teething.
