Q.

my son is having high fever giving 1ml dolo drops as per the prescription. but still fever is not in control. for sponging baby is crying. what to do. need immediate response if anyone can help

A. Kindly give paracetamol for fever and it is given according to the weight as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having. Whether higher medicines are required or not will be told by the doctor. Keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes wheen the child is having fever Armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever Do body sponge and give pllenty of water to drink and easily digestible food.

A. Ibujesic plus is one medicine that can be given to the child but I would not recommend it to go ahead with as of now since already in the middle of the course of a medication so do cold sponge that you are doing on the four head and behind the knees of the child that is going to help in reducing down the fever
