Q.
My son is having fever for the past 3 days 102F he had been vomiting for the past two days, but today there are no episodes of vomiting. but fever 102 keeps coming back after every 6 hours, giving medicine meftal p as suggested by the doctor. please suggest.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy1 Year agoA. your history tells us that the child is suffering from viral fever and in viral fever you have to give onlys symptomatic treatment that is for fever have to give paracetamol(max 4 times per day if needed) and plenty of water to drink and at least 60 to 70d% of the regular diet and if the fever continues beyond 3 days then meet the doctor please do bodyd sponge that is body wiping to decrease the body temperature with wet cotton cloth.
