Q.

my son is getting fever frequently every after one week he is very thin althrough he has a good height and he is active.pls give some vitamin and anti biotic syrup so that he don't get fever.

A. Fever is commonly seen in babies and mostly it's viral infection which is very common in children. But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also be ruled out . Antipyretic like paracetamol or htg ibuprofen or mefenamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Cold sponging with lukewarm water is also helpful . Doctor consultation should be done if symptoms like excessive irritability dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .

If your child is suffering with fever frequently then there is a possibility that your child is suffering with some kind of an infection which is the aggravating every now and then so get a blood test done 1st to figure out what could possibly be the issue as on that basis only a proper treatment can be suggested by the doctorWrite Your Answer Here
