Q.
My son is drinking milk only for 2-3 minutes at a time. This was not the case before. This behaviour is from 3 days. He drinks for 2-3 minutes, pees and then if he is awake demands milk in 30-35 minutes, if he is sleeping demands in 1-2 hours but then also drinks only for 3-4 minutes. Please tell whether this change in behaviour is fine or do i need to visit my doc. Pees per day is more than 10

ExpertDr. Gunjan BawejaPaediatrician4 years agoA. hello urine output signifies that the milk intake is good. and if it is more than 10 times then he is taking good feeds also. just wait and see he behaves and if you feel you can always get him evaluated.

what matters is that the minimum pee count throughout the day should be 8 and the weight gain of the baby should go well.
if both the things are fine then no need to worry at all.
feed after every 1-2 hours or on demand.
