Q.

My son is 8 monts 12 days old, he has started crowling, he sits on himself without support, by taking support he try to stand. But I feel he is dooing toe walking. while standing also he do not touch his full feet to floor. Also if we try to make him stand and try to touch his full feet to ground he tries to resist and makes crying face. Is this a concern? or by 11 to 12 monts he will start touching his full feet to ground..

A. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support. After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independently and somhetimes it may take even lfonger but in no case any Walker should be avoided as it can cause recurrent fall injury and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.
