Q.
My son is 8 months old. Some times he has runny nose in the morning and sometimes in the evening from 10 days . He don’t have it through out the day . Is it fine or should I consult a paediatrician?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. it's fine This can occurs due to weather changes and temperature variations or simple cold and rarely infection. kindly give nasal saline drops (nasoclear /nasivion s)every three hourly and since it is a salt water/saline water it does not have any side effects and can be given again and again for nasal blockage and respiratory cough. It will dissolve mucus in nose and throat. For fever fand pain give paracetamol Try to prevent temperature variations around the child and you can also give indirecft steam inhalation and if there is no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor

In this case I believe that your child may be suffering with certain kind of an allergy which is aggravated during morning and evening time this is a very common thing to happen so get an allergy test done for the child to be more sure and clear about itWrite Your Answer Here
