My son is 6 months old and his weight is 6kg. He breastfeed well and now starts solids.Why he is not gaining weight?

A. Hai good morning !! Babies gain 400-900 gms per month by 5-6 months they double their birth weight. According to age baby weight is fine check if baby doubled birth weight. After 6-8+ months weight gain slows compared to earlier due to achieving milestones so dont worry. Start semi solids once or twice a day rest of the day breast milk or formula milk.
