My son is 5 years 9 months old. he suddenly got fever. and even after giving paracetamol his temp at night reached 104 fahrenheit. now he coughing. what could be the reason for such high fever and in such case what has to be done immediately to lower the temperature

but reason for such high fever not known.
now he doesn't have fever. but coughing.
I wanted to know from you what has to be done if fever goes so high at night.
