my son is 5 year old his weight is 15.5 kg how to increase the weight

A. at the age of 5 years the ideal weight of a child should be around 18 to 20 kgs the tyres the weight is on a lower side you need to consult with your pediatrician for that he could examine the child and rule out the cause of not gaining weight

A. you can add full cream cows milk, eggs, meat if non vegetarian, potatoes and all diary products like butter, curd, ghee, cheese, paneer etc. Add dry fruits and nuts in his regular diet. They will help to increase weight. But as long as the child is eating properly and is healthy and active you need not worry much about the weight. Skinny look may be due to genetic reasons. If father or mother was skinny during their childhood then she could also be getting the same physique.
