Q.

My son is 5 months old and on Formula milk since birth. One of his nipple is whitish from a long time.Pls advise.

A. Hello ma’am Would advise you to try and pressing it a little because there are times when a child is born there is a little bit of milk into their nipples when you press it it comes out automatically so try doing this if it is milk or something it will come out otherwise I would advise you to consult your paediatrician ones for a proper check up

Q. #AskTheExpert i am a mother of a 3 week old baby girl. i have inverted nipple and was feeding her with the help of nipple shield on initial days...but milk supply was less and started pumping milk and fed her through bottle....pumping milk every 2 hrs and feeding her according to her demand..but not clear on how much to feed...and how long can we preserve the milk in room temperature.. she was initially on formula milk along with pumped milk..now reduced the amt of formula.. how much to feed at this.age and how to dicontinue formula.. and.is there an alternative for pumping...she is finding it difficultbto latch on to nipple shield now... does nipple shield reduces milk suppl？ also now the formula is fed only once a day..when she is too cranky..is that required ？
