Q.

My son is 5 months 6 days old ...he has running nose .and cold . What medication can I give him? I have Maxtra with me at home...

A. yes you can give it to the child but after medical consultation This can occurs due to weather changes and temperature variations or simple cold and rarely infection. kindly give nasal saline drops (nasoclear /nasivion s)every three hourly and since it is a salt water/saline water it does not have any side effects and can be given again and again for nasal blockage and respiratory cough. It will dissolve mucus in nose and throat. For fever and pain give paracetamol Try to prevent temperature variations around the child and you can also give indirect steam inhalation and if there is no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor

A. Hello mom You should just try to keep your baby in normal room temperature and don’t change the temperature of surroundings frequently. Rather than this you can use Babyhug cold rub it will give relief and cold and cough. You can also give indirect steam with warm water twice a day
