my son is 4months old and he is passing motion only once a day since 5 days..is it a sign to go to doctor...he is very irritable

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. baby is 4 month if you notice large foul smelling watery stool then it's considered as diarrhea It's hard to comment upon without proper examination it would be better if you consult your doctor for proper examination and medication maintain hygeine in the area clean with Luke warm water maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output

This is completely normal but if your child is March irritated because of this time when you can ask your doctor for some laxative otherwise in general course the constipation is considered completely normal as per the current age of your child percent very clearly mentioning that your child is having discomfort because of that Tera laxative tea and do the needful after consulting the doctor
