Q.

My son is 4 years and 5 months old. He is having cough and mild fever. Consulted dr physically. He gave t- mox 250 mg 3 times a day for 5 days, tablet prednisole 2 times a day for 3 days, syrup zyrtec 3.5ml 2 times a day and syrup levolin 4 ml 3 times a day for 5 days. Can we give tablet to 4 year old? And also a steroid medication?

A. whenever there is confusion regarding the treatment given by your doctor and if you are not satisfied with the answers you can always take a second opinion of another doctor of the same field.s weather a particular investigation or treatment is proper or not can be confirmed only after taking relevant history and doing proper examination of the child which will be done by the second doctor. s
