My son is 4 year 5 months old I have seen this on my kids face 1,2 spot in neck and 1 spot in hand Plz explain what is this nd what should I do ?plz suggest

Swetha RajeshMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. Hai.. even my 4 y/o kid had same type of rashes all over knees & elbows with fever. when I consulted doctor, he suggested me an ointment for the rashes & told me it is common now a days with high fever

Here’s a general approach to managing them: 1. Clean the Area: Gently wash the affected areas with mild soap and water to keep them clean and prevent any possible infection. 2. Cool Compress: Applying a cool compress for a few minutes can help reduce any itching or discomfort. 3. Avoid Scratching: Trim your child’s nails to prevent scratching, as this can worsen the rash and possibly lead to infection. 4. Topical Cream: You could apply a mild, over-the-counter antiseptic cream or calamine lotion to soothe the rash. Avoid strong creams like hydrocortisone without consulting a doctor. 5. Monitor for Changes: If the rash starts to spread, becomes swollen, is painful, or develops pus, or if your child has a fever or other symptoms, consult a pediatrician. They can determine if it’s an allergy, a skin infection, or another condition that may need specific treatment. For now, gentle care and observation should help, but don’t hesitate to check in with a healthcare provider if the spots increase or change.
