Q.

my son is 4 month old , his birth weight was 2.185 kg but now his weight is 5 kg only, he was gaining around 900 gms before he turned 3 months but in last month he gained 400 gm approx . he is active all day, gets sufficient wet diapers, poops well. but weight gain is slow why ?

A. Hello my dear parent! Your baby is doing absolutely well. Baby should be doubling birthweight by six months and triple by one year completion. Continue to exclusively breastfeed baby for the first six months for better health, nutrition, hydration and weight gain
