Q.

My son is 4 month 7 days old and he's refusing to take breast milk in the daytime. I try to feed him breast milk at night. However, he takes 60 - 90ml in 2- 3 hours formula only in one go. His weight is normal but is he getting adequate amount?

A. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also. the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after takinzg feeding. meet the doctor for weight assessment. if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate milk intake. if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about zthe sleeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency of the child
