Q.

My son is 3yrs 6months old at the time of birth he got hep B vaccination and within his three weeks he got another 3 doses of vaccine by government as penta-1,2,3. To protect against hepatitis B virus is those doses are enough or still we need the vaccination of hepatitis to him. because, recently one of our family member was infected with Hepatitis B virus.pls let me know.

A. yes 3 dos is enough for life term immunity from hepatitis b. also hepatitis b doesn't spread by touch and it is usually transmitted from some injections or any type of blood contact only

A. Hello mom Normally minimum three doses are required to avoid this but still you can go to the private clinic and your doctor will give you the vaccination chart and you will discuss every thing with him about the proper vaccination because few vaccinations are still not available with the government sectors
