A. At 3 years and 5 months, an average child typically weighs between 13 to 16 kg, so your son's weight of 10.6 kg is below the expected range. However, since he is active and otherwise healthy, this is reassuring. To support healthy weight gain, offer him calorie-dense, nutritious foods like full-fat milk, cheese, ghee, nut powders (if not allergic), eggs, dal, rice, roti with butter, bananas, and sweet potatoes. Give small, frequent meals and include healthy snacks. Avoid processed or junk food. Monitor his growth regularly, and if weight gain remains slow or you notice signs of nutritional deficiency, consult a pediatrician for further evaluation and guidance.
