Q.

my son is 3 years and 8 months old yesterday we did tsh and it came around 6.8 we did it cuz he passes stoll only if he takes creamfinn plus last year tsh was 3.4 , t2 t2 were normal as well. doc didn't put him on thyroid medication . should I be worried?

A. no it's fine within limits Your child is having constipation for which kindly give plenty of water to drink and fibre diet made from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits. Changes in diet has to be made Specially give papaya, banana, oats, fennel seeds water pear, prune, pineapple, resins, plum as it will help in decreasing constipation. Even after that the problem continues kindly meet your doctor for constipation medicine. it is important for you to know that the problem of constipation will improve with increasing age of the child. You may increase or decrease the dosage of constipation medicine if needed according to the consistency of the stool.
