Q.
My son is 3 Months 20 days. His weight is 5.350. He only breast fed. Is he underweight. Is there ways I can increase his weight.

Author of questionFather of a 2 yr old boy1 Year agoA. His birthday date is on Nov 8/2023. His birth weight was 3 kgs. He reduced to 2.840 when we left the hospital. Now his current weight is 5.350

You have not mentioned the birthdate of the child so I’d like to tell you that a child should gain a minimum 500 g in a month so if your child has gained a minimum minimum of 1500 g in these three months and this is ideally good otherwise underweight then you can start with formula feeding if needed
