Q.

my son is 3.5 year old and his weight 12 kg which falls below who range and whereas his height is 97cm...he eats 3 meals per day in limited quantity and some fruits. please suggest something to increase his weight

A. dear Mum, for healthy weight gain of your 3.5 years old child, give a homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups. grains and millets - 3 to 4 servings pulses legumes/egg non veg: 1-2 servings seasonal vegetables including green leafy vegetables: 1.5 serving fruits - 1 serving milk and milk products 500ml sugar 4 tsp oil 5 tsp control intake of processed and packaged foods.
