Q.
my son is 2months only now, doctor told to feed only on demand.He is not getting up in night, he is sleeping at 10 and getting up at 8 to 9am, is it okay? for now j am waking up atleast 3hours once and feeding, that time also he is taking very less. Before sleeping he drinks for 30 to 40mins and sleeping. please can someone tell is it normal?

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 years agoA. dear maugham the feeding pattern varies from baby to baby so you should feed baby on demand
if baby is passing urine 6 to 8 times in 24 hours is active and gaining adequate weight at least 500 gram per month then feeding is sufficient
