Q.
My son is 23month, form last one week he started to walk with tip toes for few seconds.. is it a symptom of Autism.. But he points with index finger as well as waves his hand and do hi fi also.. Still my totally worried about this Please help with your valuable suggestions

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. toe walking is many times seen in children after completion of 1 year of age.
sometimes it is intermittent as well as sometimes it is continuous. usually this habit goes zaway with increasing age of the child usually by 2 years of age.
it is advisable that in between whenever you meet your pediatrician you can discuss this problem as well as take a video whezn the child is toe walking and share it with your pediatrician who will tell you if any intervention is required or not.
