Q.

My son is 23 months old. He has taken Varicella vaccine 1 at the age of 17mnths. As per the vaccination chart, Varicella2 vaccine should be given between 4-6 years. Same thing I can find in internet alao. But doctor has mentioned to take the 2nd dose at age of 20mnths. So I wanted to take 2nd opinion regarding this.

A. what you are following and information given is a world information at present first dose of chickenpox vaccine to be given around one year of age followed by a booster around 15 months another booster around 5 years of age
