Father of a 4 yr 10 m old boy3 years ago
Q.

My son is 22 months old and approx 10-11 kg in weight. He was having mild fever yesterday. My wife mistakenly gave him approx 3.5-4 ml of crocin drops (100mg/ml) nearly 350 - 400 mg in one single dose. What might be the effects of given overdose of paracetamol.

A. a single heavy dose for the child should not cause any major problem. there is a possibility that the child might have vomiting. it will be single episode and then it should stop. on the side effects part it may not be that much relevant so no need to worry.d it is important that in the future you should give proper quantity to the child in case of medicines x
