my son is 2+yrs. he makes sounds like hmm, aaa, ooooo n while crying he says mamma. but doesn't talk. We have always been talking to him. what to do . due to covid am scared to take him to hospital

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. it is advisable to get the assessment of the child done by the doctor and speech language social milestones assessment needs to be done
DEVELOPMENT by the age of 2 years the child should be able to speak few words with meaning in the sentence and should be able to understand all the commands and orders given by the parents and if you feel that they are not present in your child it is important to meet your pediatrician to assess the growth milestones of the child and whether there is any need of therapy or not

please spend more time with your child and talk more and more with your child
please tell stories and sing nursery rhymes with your child
