Q.
My son is 2 years old now. He is still breastfeeding. I want him to stop now. In day time it's 2-3 times at Max and sometimes 0 and during night it's 2-3 but a minimum of 1. Pls tell me how to do it. Thanks

Milk is very important for babies specially in the initial days of life breast milk is very important and should be given exclusively till 5-6 months of age . formula milk should be given only as a substitute to breast milk if due to any reason it is not sufficient to fulfill the demand of the baby. according to the age different stage of formula milk are there like stage 1 till 6 montrhs of age stage 2 from 6 months to 12 months and thereafter stage 3 . after one year cows milk should be started and any kind of health drink powder in milk shofuld be used only after the completion of two years of age .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl3 years agoA. U First should introduce a complementary feeding to the child and then you quit breastfeeding in the meanwhile if I ask your doctor advised with the medicine which will help in reducing down your breast feed and will try have to be within 3 to 5 days
